06 Process
How a sitting works
A general guide to what to expect.
- 01
Consult
Bring the idea, references and the spot you have in mind. Talk through size, style and what will sit best on the body.
- 02
Design
The piece is drawn for you and adjusted until it feels right: line weight, scale, and the one red note, or none.
- 03
Sitting
Stencil, placement check in the mirror, then the needle. Eat beforehand, stay hydrated, and ask for breaks whenever you need them.
- 04
Aftercare
Keep it clean, moisturise lightly, keep it out of the sun and the pool while it heals, and don't pick at it.

Before you book
General guidance, not medical advice.
Most people describe it as a scratch or a hot sting. It depends on placement and on you: bony, thin-skinned spots like ribs, ankles and the inner arm tend to feel sharper. Short breaks are normal, so just ask.
Sleep well, eat a proper meal before you come, drink water, and skip alcohol the day before. Wear clothes that give easy access to the placement, and bring your reference images.
Wash gently with clean hands and mild soap, pat dry, and use a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturiser. Avoid direct sun, swimming and picking or scratching while it heals. For piercings, leave the jewellery in and avoid twisting it. Follow the routine the studio gives you.
Use the request form above, or DM @inklordz.tattoo on Instagram. Opening hours Mon–Sun 11 am – 9 pm.
A few reference images, the feeling or story behind it, the placement, and a rough size. For portraits, the sharpest, best-lit photo you have makes the biggest difference.
